Why do what we do?
In San Antonio, academic achievement levels are notably low, especially in core skills such as reading and mathematics. Many of our local students of color lack access to essential resources. Additionally, with San Antonio's drastic economic inequalities and high levels of poverty, many students aren't able to complete a successful educational journey. We aim to make our community a nurturing and prosperous environment for all students.
At Leadership SAISD, we believe in the power of ______. We are a diverse cohort of leaders who bring in a variety of passionate adults to engage in learning sessions focused on funding, bilingual opportunities, and social-emotional learning. We achieve our goals of academic awareness through a 9-month cohort program and educational discussions (ed-chats).
